About Us
Meet the human behind Flow State
Flow State was founded by Simon “Bones” Bethel, a wellness coach, educator, and lifelong skateboarder who is passionate about helping people find clarity, resilience, and connection. With more than a decade of experience leading wellness sessions, retreats, and community programs, Simon combines movement, mindfulness, and practical tools to support nervous system regulation and positive mental health.
His background spans teaching, life coaching, men’s group facilitation, and board sports instruction. He is a qualified school teacher, Reiki Master, Keith’s Cacao Practitioner, and Skateboard GB Coach. He also serves as chairman of the Lyme Regis Skatepark Project and as a regional representative for Surfers Against Sewage, reflecting his commitment to youth development and environmental responsibility.
Flow State works with individuals, teams, and communities through in-person and online sessions, board sport retreats, and corporate wellness programs. Every offering is guided by a trauma-aware, neurodivergent-inclusive approach, creating safe and supportive spaces for growth, creativity, and connection.
